Knight-Forge
Overview
Knight-Forge is an anime mech extraction shooter set in a lush Ghibli-inspired fantasy world of medieval castles, stone villages, and winding rivers — populated by ornate mechs with Japanese kanji abilities like Hi no Kami Kagura! — developed in-house at Mantavyam Studios. It merges the iconic aesthetics of Gundam, Evangelion, and Macross Plus with the world-building depth of Persona and Genshin Impact.
What We Built
Our team crafted multiple distinct mech factions — stone knight mechs, sleek sci-fi units, Japanese feudal-inspired red and gold mechs, and armored dark warriors — each with bold anime cel-shading, thick outlines, and dynamic VFX. The Da Vinci influence runs deep: mechs carry ornamental Renaissance-era ornamentation drawing from Milan's ancient technology aesthetic in the project research.
